Dear Life

Last night, I had a dream. Probably, I should say I had a nightmare. But this dream that I had isn't any normal. It taught me a lesson. I am used to believing that human life is short and we should enjoy every of our day as if it's the last day of our life. I had never appreciated my life. Health was never an issue for me. It's not because I am born with unique genetics that could save me from any diseases or illnesses. I simply do not believe in staying healthy just to lengthen my life span.

For the past few years, I realized that I am not in a good health condition. Sometimes, I had back pain and heartache. But I still continued living my life as usual; eating deep-fried and junk food. It's not like I was scared of death. If I am to die early, why not just continue enjoying your life to the end.

But last night wasn't any simpler dream. It was the night that I felt the pain that had taken away many life. I was struck with an heart attack. It was the most gruesome pain I had. No blood was spilled. There's nothing you could do but to stand the pain until it stops or snatches your life away. I never felt this weak before. When i realize it, it was just a dream.

P.s. Not to worry. My mum stuffs me with lots of fruits everyday.

My dream had come true

You might not believe it but I am a football manager in Manchester United football club. I earn $1.5 million a year. People like Rooney and Ferdinand call me 'boss'. Can you believe it? Even I can't. I worked there for almost three years and swooped every single trophy that's in our way.

I had always enjoyed football. It's my passion. I love watching it and also playing it. I had dreamt of becoming the like of Gabriel Batistuta. I am big fan of him. But I know that in Malaysia, I would not be able to achieve my dream. So I gave up hope and never played football at higher level.

At the age of 18, i realised that it's far too late to play for club like Manchester United and Real Madrid. With the lack of height, strength and agility, I couldn't even compete at university level. I decided to be a football coach and manager. I googled 'how to become a professional football manager' but there's no right answer for me.

A year later, I am managing one of the biggest club in the world, earning huge amount of money each year and common among celebrity player like David Beckham. This dream, I only can achieve through FIFA 11.

Inspired by Yourself is The Road to Success

Nowadays, most people love to read books that talks about how a person become successful in life or how a person become a better person and so on. They want to know their story so that they can inspire themselves to become like that one person who inspired them. We want to be people like Albert Einstein or like Bill Gates or even people like Mark Zuckerberg. We want to be like them. Successful in life and have money that probably will last for a few generations. We like to hear stories about them dropping out of school and not study and get rich. We like to hear stories how much they did not succeed in their teenage life and become one of the most influential person ever in the history.

Let's get back to the reality and set the facts right. First of all, Albert Einstein, if you do not not know who he is, is one of the greatest scientist of all times (probably after the apple dude guy. *really hope durian falls on his head*). Albert Einstein actually did not ever drop out of school or sucks bad time in math or needed his wife to do the math for him. He is already a genius in school.

Yes, it is true that Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg did drop out of school but they can afford to do so. Because they have the brains to do so. They are actually too smart for the school. It's not that they failed in their exam and got expelled. They simply just say school is boring and i could make billion of dollars right now rather than paying to the school. Not a good investment probably.

So, it doesn't mean education is nothing. It's not "not helpful". These people have learn way ahead of what they are supposedly to learn. They work their way to success. It's not that you are stuck in your miserable school studying. It's that you are actually building your way to success. It's your story. A story that you will tell yourself and be inspired because you are great in your own way.

A Sad Story - The Forgotten Plane

On October 1st 1969, she makes its first ever supersonic flight. Flying at 1350mph, Concorde is no doubt the fastest passenger carrier ever made in the history. However, nobody has spoken a word of it today. More than 2.5 million passengers have flown supersonically on this Concorde since she entered commercial service in 1976 but it has been retired in year 2003.

What make such a beast be left in the history?

First of all, Concorde itself costs 23 million pounds as in British pounds. So, you might be thinking a Boeing Airbus 787 costs around 100 million pounds. But, Concorde is built almost 40 years back and considering money inflation, it would be easily more than 200 million pounds. Even with today technology, it's still far to expensive to be built.

Secondly, Concorde is very expensive to be maintained. It's said that the cost to maintain a Concorde is almost equivalent to the weight of it in gold. It cost a staggering 100 million just to maintain 20 Concorde at a time. Why 20 Concorde? It's because there's only 20 Concordes that exist in the history.

Thirdly, it's due to the major crash on the 25th July 2000. Yes even normal airplane built by boeing do crush onto the surface of the earth. However, this is different! 100 passengers, 9 crew members and even 4 people on the ground were killed in the crash.

Well, I hope you are thinking what i am thinking. Well, it's just a crash out of thousands of successful flight and will this actually jeopardize the pride of Concorde?

Concorde is not a piece of technology built in America or even Germany or Japan and probably not China too. This airplane is founded by France and British and Concorde is only available in Air France and British Airways. Concorde is not found in any other airlines for the 34 years of Concorde's service to human beings. What make you think that other countries are not jealous about this?

After that Concorde Flight 4590 crash, many countries start to publicize the safety of the Concorde and saying that the airplane is causing too much noise pollution. Why did they not bring this issues up for the past 30 years? Considering Concorde flies at high cost consuming 4 times more fuels than a normal airplane, it only teleports people who can pay for it. With all these media coverage on Concorde, the rich sure want to be rich and not dead and chooses the normal flight with normal airplane.

If only the Concorde has not run into a metal fragment, punctured its tires and burst its fuel tank during the take off, if only the Concorde is not being accused of the death of 113 people, if only other countries are not envious, what could possibly be the change to today's transportation system? Can you imagine a speed that no passenger carrier today can overcome was built 40 years ago? If Concorde exists till today, i believe Concorde will revolutionize the airplane system.

Dream not dream again!

I bet everyone has a dream and probably not just a dream. I am not sure about you but I seriously have too many dreams, for quite a while ago.

When i was very young, i thought of becoming the cutest, sexiest baby ever.
As soon as I entered primary school, i dreamed of becoming the most fearful kid in the school!

However, my dream changed as soon as i entered my high school. I want to be the smartest kid in the school.

And also at the same time retain as the most fearful kid.

Later on in life, i dreamt of becoming a football star and played for Manchester United

and then represent Malaysia in World Cup

and have all the hot chicks cheer for me in the stadium!

At the same time, i will be woking part time as a businessman tycoon and become the richest man on earth.

Then, get married with Jessica Alba

and move into the most expensive house in the world.

and probably that's it for now.

But come to think of it, i should be glad that I am born well in a good shape of a normal baby. I should be glad that I am just as normal as any other primary or high school kids. I should be glad that I have a house that is big enough for me to live in. I should be glad that I have nice friends around me and not having an unknown hot chick, who i will never know, cheering for me. I should also be glad that i have enough money to eat and even have the luxury to write on this site just to tell you that your life is still full of wonders. Not getting to your dream is not the end.

Summary Report of the Second Year's First term in U of T

Objective: To pass the term with flying colour, get US visa and have enough money to holiday in far-faraway-land

Material and apparatus: Paper, pencil, eraser, ruler, notebook, water, spectacle, earphone, badminton racket, food (especially chicken), phone, calculator, brain and alarm clock

Chemical hazard: Studying too much can cause nausea. Phone may cause cancer. Chickens are possible cause of bird flu. Earphone can cause impair of hearing. Pencil is a possible stabbing weapon. Paper can cause paper cut and death.

Procedure:

1) Study as hard as possible

2) Do research on all the materials studied

3) Do lots of revision

4) Do well in exams

5) Get good result

6) Go holiday somewhere a little faraway from Toronto in the winter

Actual procedure:

1) Reach Toronto

2) Buy furniture

3) Move into new house (love it)

4) Start school

5) Studied very hard

6) Bought an earphone = no US visa

7) Studied hard

8) Learn how to optimize in infinite ways

9) Bought Canon 7D = no more holiday

10) Studied not so hard

11) Went through midterm

12) Laptop died and bought MacBook = confirmed no more holiday in winter

13) Studied mildly

14) Eat tic tac almost everyday

15) Going to final

16) Studied not so mildly

17) Eat chicken almost everyday

18) In the final

19) Studied a little

20) This is what i am doing during the final. This as in writing this summary report. Tomorrow is calculus's final and wish me luck. Thank you.

Conclusion: Two objective is not achieved and the first objective's result is still pending. May God bless me!

It's Friday

It's cleaning day in my brother's house. Obviously, my brother and my sister-in-law sure still working in their office unless it's a flexi-Friday. It's actually quite nice to clean up a small house than a bigger. Just a dab here and there and everything's done in no time.

I start to think about the times when I was in my hometown. I am not sure whether this ever happens to you but it happens to me. So, the story goes like this. My mum would tell me to do a list of stuff. Maybe not a list. If it's a list, I would be better off a maid. So, my mum ask me, "Can you help me to hover the floor?". Well, that's not exactly how she sounds like. She speaks mandarin to me. It goes like this "Ni kei yi bang wo vacuum lou sang ken lou sia ma?". Is there actually a question mark in Chinese character? Screw this, I suck at mandarin.

So, I was thinking it wasn't that bad hovering a two floor semi-detached house. I asked her, "Just.. just hovering. Is that all?". She replied me, "So mo si hovering?". She then told me that's the only thing I need to do for the house on that day. In my mind, I was like, that's easy. It's going to be done in 20 minutes. Then, normally by human instinct or whatever it is, I just start planning for the rest of the day like going out with friends, play my computer or do some fun stuff.

After I was done, I happily whistling to my mum and tell her I am done! Yes, I got the next 10 hours for my activities. She said to me, "Ke ye bang wo se che so ken mop de ma?". Doh! You said to me to hover the place only! Now, you asking me to wash the toilet and mop the floor. Parents just love to keep your hope high and make you start doing things they want you to do. Then from there, they start adding things from one item to a long list.

It's juz been a long time

Yupe it's been a long time since i wrote on my blog. Hey bloggers out there, i have some questions for you guys.

First of all) When do you guys find time to sit down right in front of your computer and type crap? Like literally crap!

Second of all) Have you ever fell like "erm, what i am gonna write today? and erm...will people actually care about my grandma?" duh, nobody gonna care about your grandma, but your grammar!

Third of all) Will you actually think anybody read what you are writing? I mean seriously, have you ever felt you are writing to your computer and it just seems like a one way interaction and you felt glad about it? It's like "i just talk to ... err.. my com?".

Lastly) Why do you blog?

It sounds like i am trying to find excuses not to blog. Honestly, if i am gonna blog or not, who's gonna care. After all, i will still blog. Wow, i actually say that but maybe once a week. Not so bad right. Ok give me a break. Let say once in two weeks? Why am i making this a routine? Ok then once a month. That sounds good and lets put a 90 degree inverted smile on it.

And there you go, a 90 degree inverted smile --> :)

Chapter 4: When summer comes...

It's been almost more than a month where mousehunt has not been succesful. Summer has come and darkness once again overuled by the sun. I knew the day has come where there`s not a single luck in mouse hunting. My hunting ground has been dried from blood. The sounds of scratches and squeaking are no longer heard.

When 1st of September comes, my hunt will continue in a whole new fresh ground. The hunt will be even harder and more challenging as I move to a bigger hunting ground with unknown type of mouse living around it. Stay tune for more next winter!

Shopping For Dove

So early today, i went looking for Dove body wash in shoppers drug mart. I was planning just to buy the Dove body wash and my printer ink. Somehow my temptation grew. A huge pack of Mars bars and Hersleys ended in my shopping bag.

Why? Why not they just build a Dove shop where they sell Dove product only? Hold on... Dove now sell chocolate also right?

Chapter 3: Mousehunt succesful!

It was Friday morning and another mousetrap is added to my inventory. Mouse hunt journey started when the sun set. When all lights were gone and darkness set in, the devilish vampire mouse started to lurk in my ground, trespassing my territory.

Golds, cheese and corns were stolen. Properties were destroyed and disease set in. It was pass eleven at night. I heard scratches and growl of hunger in the dark night. Suddenly, i heard a loud thud. Quickly, i ran through the obstacles in the dark night towards my first trap and my prey. But, it's not there and so, i went to my second trap.

Blood was splattered all over the place. It lied stationary and its red eye look dead at me. I celebrate for my first victory but i know the war had just started.

Chapter 2: When you realise it's not like as you think...

When you first reach Canada, you might think that there's no cockroaches, flies and mice. I was so happy at that moment. I can just open a packet of sugar and throw unto my bed and sleep with it and nothing will happen. Everything seems so perfect until....

Once upon a time, a prince (me :-P) went through the deep drawer fighting through his way to the princess (Chips Ahoy). Sooner, he found out his princess was stabbed multiple times. He fell unto his knee and wept for her. The next day he buried her peacefully and start to plot his revenge!

So, i sleep with the stupid mouse in the room for five days until i plan to go to the lodge to order a mouse trap. Suddenly feel so fun to catch mice, like the mousehunt in Facebook. Hopefully can catch the Lycan Mouse :-P.

I was pretty sick on that day when I went to the lodge asking for mouse trap. I ask the lady, what is that black triangle box in my room for? She told me it was poison which the mouse eat it and the blood will coagulate and kill the mouse. I was like, don't tell me the mouse take the poison and put inside my mouth when i was sleeping. No wonder i am so sick on that day. Oh sh*t, I am dying soon. Choi!! touch wood touch wood...

The lady at the lodge suddenly ask me, are you from Wetmore hall? Wah, how you know?? Is she stalking me or what? So, i say yes lo. Then she tell me that last time when she was there, she caught eight mices at a time. Hold on, did you just say eight? Wakau, EIGHT!!! I feel like moving out now :( I don't want to sleep with mouse everyday.

Chapter 1: Rat or Squirrel ?

This morning I was taking out a packet of Chips Ahoy from the inner side of the cupboard. And there was a big hole underneath my Chips Ahoy! Some stupid as*&^%$ invaded my territory and try to kidnap my cookies. The suspects are either

I gonna smack your ass until red color and chop you into pieces and crush you with car into ham chen piang if I see one of you in my room!

What can Friends be

I was walking back from class today and this just came into my to mind from nowhere. I was wondering how friends can help you so much in life and how friends can also actually devastate your life.

All of us know that friends are important to all of us. They helped us through hard times and provide comfort to us especially when our family members are not around. Friends even wake you up when your parents couldn't wake you up for your class. When your parents are not around, they took care of you when you fall sick. They encourage you to do even better in anything.

However, what friends can be, can be another way round. There are certain friends who could hurt someone's heart without realizing it. Sometimes even discouraging them. For example, there are some friends involuntarily look down at their own friends for having a bad marks in exams. There are some who talk stuff that put their friends into deep thought. There are even some encourage to do things that they don't even know it's wrong.

Friends can never be replace by your parents. Your parents are the gift from God to protect and guide you through your life. As long they are in your heart, it heals everything because they are always there for you.



P.s.: I m not saying friends are not important. It's only that they come second after parents :-P

Life Like That (it's like a chain reaction)

It's been long time i had not update. I used to say my new year resolution is to update every week but i am just some kind of useless lazy homo sapien. It's because of this useless homo sapien, the blog become stagnant. When the blog becomes stagnant, nobody want to advertise in my blog and when nobody advertise in my blog, no income coming into my account. When there's no money in my account, i become poor. When i am poor, i cant pat my debt. When i cant pay my debt, i become even poor and i cant even pay back to the bank. Then, the bank has no money to cover their cost. Concerning that the bank is losing money, the bank then start retrenching their staffs. Consequently, some of the staff lost their jobs. Somehow and somewhere, one of the stuff, by coincident, is my friend.

I am not so sure if you realize that the friend of mine is stupid enough not to know that he lost his job because of me and i am sitting next to him! (psst. dun tell him)

P.s. Lesson learned --> if you are to blame something, blame the person next to you no matter what the situation is.

To the others, pls continue sitting next to me. I am sure i had not trigger any chain reaction that go against u. (i hope so :-P)

Last Weekend's Money Splash

After two months of not spending, i decided to splash some money! It was Friday and Hexen was down in Toronto again XD So, we decided to go to CN Tower at |night| to discover a whole new different feeling at the top of the world. The view is fantastic and the night was beautiful. Nothing much i could say about it.

We went up to the CN Tower at around 6.45pm and it was dark already. However, we did not bring our cameras. So, we took photos in the dark using our IPhones. Can you imagine asking someone "Can you help us taking our photos?"... "Here's our camer.. I mean phone." I don't know but it just felt weird. Yupe, we went to eat in the revolving restaurant, 360 Restaurant. The food was ok but it's not worth the money. However, the scenery and the dining experience is unimaginable.


























































Below, is the famous Skywalk in Toronto. It links the Unions Station and main attractions like CN Tower, Rogers Centre and Air Canada Centre. It's beautiful. I did not realise the beauty at first until i walked until the other end :-P

Lastly, this is our first wine we drank together.

At last, i installed the Windows 7. It looks good and things run pretty organized. I would give it a ****star.

Amazingly, i found this. I am not so sure do you guys know about this:Yes, it is the Microsoft Word Office 2010 (Beta). It looks pretty cool. The functions are pretty awesome. However,Microsoft need to do some touch up into it. Their design weren't that good.
