Luggage-Freak Syndrome

Do you have any idea this syndrome existed? I don’t, until i realised something is wrong when my mum just spend over thousands of dollar on luggage in just a few days time. Well, this syndrome goes like this. I am going to Canada this September to continue my study. My mum was like you are going to Canada and you need some luggage. So, i was like ok. Then, my mum said we need luggage that could fit 23kg exactly. So, i said ok and then she said, we need to get luggage for me, for her and my brother too. I was like ok... Hold on, i am the one going to Canada and why do you and my brother need luggage too? But i kept quiet. So, we started our journey from Karamunsing shopping complex then to Merdeka shopping complex (why do we go there in the first place? They don’t sell any luggage) then to Warisan Square and then to Centre Point and then we ended up in 1Borneo (we are in Sabah just in case you don’t know) looking for luggage. Phew! Five places that recognised my mum face and mine! They were like this kid and his mum again. We are like damn bored in Sabah that we strolled and surveyed every single corner of every single shopping complex in Sabah. So, we reached 1Borneo and we enter this travelling shop (hold on... shop don’t travel), we enter this shop with goods for travelling and my mum fixed her eyes on this brown Camel Active luggage. I was like thank God it wasn’t as huge as the last luggage she bought for me, before i moved to Kuala Lumpur. The last luggage i got was like... just that you can fit two elephant into it. Forgive me, Hexen. So, my mum said that is good. So, i said that is won-dai-fu. One real fact about Chinese people is that we tend to change English word to filthy Chinese pronunciation. For an example, the name Toyota. I used to like the brand very much until my dad called it to-yu-tai. Not only that, Land Cruiser becomes nan-ku-sieh. After hours of checking the same luggage, we decided to get it. So, we bought two for me, one for my mum and one for my brother. Soon, i also came to my conscience that my mum had bought another huge luggage in Kuala Lumpur. She spent RM739 on the luggage and then another RM99.80 on security lock. If i am to include the luggage that she bought in Kuala Lumpur, it will be over thousands. I wonder this happens to your family or not. Once they find out you going overseas, they bought like numbers of luggage in a year advance. Thanks to people like Airasia.
